Can we address our times by creating the illusion that we are stepping out of them? This seems to be the only challenge to Donald Trump the Democrats are willing to make. It is a hard won discourtesy they feel they have earned. Bravo. While many people prefer the workplace or streetcorner to school, and while the idea that hard work is more real than education has been answered with the academic dismissal that teachers should not be expected to change the world the truth is that hard won understanding, well worth knowing, or at least knowing about, is possible only through learning. We are not up against a refusal to learn. We are up against a refusal to understand who has been teaching us and how. The undiscovered fact that people who know things well worth knowing are using them to create a media teaching badly, making such knowledge by conversion of malice into things not worth knowing, a council that is smashing us with the fascination of our awe based on incomprehension is terribly urgent. We are trying to address our times without understanding how our times are being addressed.
This isn’t to answer those who would rather not know and applaud those who keep the truth from us exactly for that very reason. I prefer a marginal performance. For them not discussing the situation is the answer to their prayers. Most of the people in politics do not understand that the performance value of their lead depends in part on their personality as anchored in American history. They lack the personality to take on the affairs of state. This is a problem of their history, their grasp of their place and identity. I don’t mean to say a black woman can’t do it, a gay man can’t do it, they certainly can, but they would need to understand the historic situation for America and they don’t even bother. Case in point:
Donald Trump griped about putting America First and attacked liberalism. Not only did Hillary Clinton insist he had the right to be debated as a candidate by showing up even after he vocaled shamelessly about mauling his pets in the locker room, she failed, and I mean failed, in the sense of a student flunked, to point out that America First was the cause that attempted to restrain the United States of America from entering into combat against Adolf Hitler. The anti-Liberal chauvinism that is now everywhere is not only conspicuously anti-intellectual and drone headed, but its history is the appeasement movement who regarded intervention against a murder regime of fascism to be utopian and out of touch with reality. If our aspirants to leadership cannot even anchor themselves in our history properly, and cannot allowed themselves even to idealism the rescue of women and children from the gates of crematoriums, how can they possibly hope to navigate, much less steer, our society through such difficult times as lie ahead?
It is not impossible to grasp our situation, it’s not that far out of reach. The blinders are not in the least persuasive. But the Democrats broke faith with the public’s right to know things that are important all through the Reagan years. Clinton’s running mate, Mr. Kane, pronounced himself the closest continuer of Reagan. The Democrats feel they exist on a plateau where as insiders they have achieved privilege and grace that allows them to make determinations for the rest of us, without our knowing what’s going on. Is this really the measure that we don’t care they seem to be implying it is? In this respect the meaning of the word Democrat has changed to something very similar, possibly even identical, to the legendary difference between what Americans mean or used to mean by Public and what the British mean by Public. In Britain, the Public means the private, insider class, that’s all, the rest of the people are commoners. Who, in America, speaks for the silent weak with the intelligence and fortitude to still care? To wish they knew what our leaders claim they aren’t brave enough to know?
This is not to say that the wall of shame that surrounds our willingness to put fear before wisdom is not based on something truly terrifying. It just isn’t unknowable and it is worth knowing because, if we don’t know, we will be ruled by it and it is the last force in the universe we want to be ruled by, it is a force of global destruction that means our ruin, too. That is its purpose. I will describe and explain this charter agenda, it will be familiar to you in many respects. The fact that AIDS was a major factor in its momentum should not be news to you even with the blackout. AIDS is not the only issue, and yet global warming will never drown it out. It amounts to an attempt to use universal principles to destroy what our society stands for precisely by claiming that they are the ones enforcing universal principles which is not true. Donald Trump is not the Lawgiver of human rights, no matter how many ways the NAACP seek to twist his power system to their advantage.
The brilliant mind of Theodor Adorno underwrites many things that have caught the public imagination without people really understanding why it is so interesting to them. A good example is the children’s question about the great chain of being provoked by the song by The Beatles titled, “I am the Walrus.” If we are all together, does that mean even Hitler? Adorno goes beyond where a person can actively be expected to go in some ways. He makes you feel the way you do after you’ve heard about a synagogue bombing. It’s not something you actively want to understand. A very malicious person might snap their fingers and shout, why not? You blinked! You didn’t blink. You felt like you might be encouraging terrorism to indulge a side of hate crime that is best evaded and put down by force. No one should be expected to tolerate a church massacre as art. In coming over with such potency, it’s easy to see why people might evade him, however, when he says his most well known quotation, “After Auschwitz poetry is impossible,” we need to catch our breath because the poetry that was used for the spellbinding ends of mis-education by British Intelligence managing the AIDS attack, they deny authorship, I think it was them, comes from a Jewish Holocaust Survivor Community, working with the help of Hollywood, and overly self-regarding mavericks in Black Studies, who managed to arrive at what they think is the appropriate poetry after Auschwitz, and they want it accepted, virtually normalized.
The NAACP has many tactics but one of the most obvious is the idea that anyone who subscribes to universal principles they feel is violating the laws of the United States and should be put to extreme duress. Very sophisticated, multicultural legal geniuses defined a notch in the social consciousness of American society into which they squashed me and said so what if we subject a white child to mutilationism, so what if we normalize human vivisection, and they killed JFK then transferred the idealistic framework of his reasoning to a house they could assail, milk, mock and humiliate and they think that’s fine. It is the misuse of principles to attack the United States, our legacy of justice for the individual. It tears at the fabric of our sanity because it violates the trust we have asked from each other. It is not against the law to hope for the best and contribute to the improvement of Our Commonwealth. It is obscene to say that such ideas therefore allow a person to be conscription into their own mutilation and humiliation by foreign ripper hatters who don’t care who they hurt and don’t care who they do wrong, don’t be fooled. The Ark of Colors is not a morality play about abortion. The Rolling Stones are not that kind of moral fable.
The poetry that these murderers wrote is telltale and screaming for judicial action. My cat, for example, was named Pitsche. That’s not just a pun on schedule from Pitt, and we all know the clockwork and calendar of the papers there. It implies Pit of … ? And the Polish suffix to a name: Ski. Many of the most horrible concentration camps of mass murder were in Poland. Brilliant leaders in this form of thinking, the Vienna Circle, have kept some of their most precious documents at the University where the Texas Schoolbook was found. If the NAACP and notorious Penis Gabriel had spoken out when they claim they got hold of these things in the early 80’s, which isn’t credible, they were too well prepared, and that they claim they were just about compelled to protect Reagan, all of the evidence of which raises serious questions not about his judgment and theirs but that he knew about the plan, it not only would have been stopped this monstrosity in its tracks but also it would have gotten teams and teams of people rescued, but further we might have understood (in time to prepare better for what we now face) how sinister our “enemy within” really has become, and how bloodcurdlingly coy.
I did everything imaginable to try and warn people. I was drowned out by a mission about a man who may not even really have died. How’s that for a last laugh from the organized criminals in Greece and Argentina?
